OUR RECEPTION TEAM

Linda Rumenap - Linda has been a receptionist at Hunt Valley Animal Hospital since 1988!  She has a precious little pekenese named Chrissy. She also has two Granddogs, a border collie named Maggie and a black lab, named Jake. Linda is a huge sports fan - GO RAVENS! 

Wendy Caldwell - Wendy is one of the newest members of our reception team, joining Hunt Valley in June 2009.  She is also a huge Ravens fan!

Jill Martin-Krebs - Jill also joined us in June 2009.  Jill will be splitting her time as a technician as well.  Jill and her family have two mastiffs, one of which she adopted from Defenders of Animal Rights.  Her mastiffs also share the house with two daschunds.  When not at HVAH, Jill is an avid diver and volunteers at the Baltimore Aquarium as a diver in the shark tanks.

Brianne Howard - Bri joined the reception team in August 2009.  Bri was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to Maryland in 1997.  She enjoys swimming, reading, traveling, scuba diving, snorkeling and hanging out with people she is close to.  She travels back to Canada every summer to stay on her Uncle's farm and helps to rescue injured wildlife.  Bri has 3 cats Jack, Buster and Jill; as well as a 13 year old Shihtzu mix named Maddie.

Danielle McCumbers - Danielle first joined our hard working kennel team in July 2009.  She is now a dedicated receptionist and doing a wonderful job.  She is engaged to be married and living happily in Baltimore.  In her free time, Danielle enjoys watching movies, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.  She loves to travel and has been to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.  Danielle shares her home with a variety of pets:  a dog named Mickey and 2 cats named Remy and Gizzy.  She also has many fish and 2 lizards named Lexington and Saratoga.  Danielle is a proud supporter of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.  As one who loves working with animals, Danielle hopes to one day own a large farm and start a rescue center for unwanted, stray and abandoned animals. 


OUR TECHNICIAN TEAM

Joyce Adams, RVT - Hunt Valley Animal Hospital welcomed Joyce in December 2009.  She graduated from Essex Community College in 1999 with a degree in Applied Science as a Veterinary Technician.  Joyce has worked in the veterinary field for 15 years!  She loves all animals, but is especially fond of her boxer, Jasmine and Siamese mix cat, Miranda (both adopted).  In 2008, Joyce and her husband, Carl, became parents with the adoption of two young siblings who they love very much. 

Jessie Apple - Jessie started working in the industry in 1997 as a kennel assistant.  She joined the Hunt Valley Animal Hospital family as a technician in 2004.  She shares her home with 4 cats named Miller, Foosa, Abby and Jaden and a red eared slider named Crush.  Jessie enjoys the summer months, hanging out with friends and playing video games.  She also likes to joke around and keep people laughing.

Lena Frankenfeld, CVT  -  Lena graduated from Fairmont State College with a degree in applied sciences as a Veterinary Technician in 1992. She has been employed at Hunt Valley Animal Hospital for 14 years!  She has a Basset Hound named Cindy that she rescued from Defenders of Animal Rights and a tabby cat that she adopted from Furgotten Friends. Lena loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys camping. Lena is an avid photographer and enjoys scrapbooking.

Sarah Robertson - Sarah has been a part of the Hunt Valley Animal Hospital team since 2004.  She started as a kennel team member at the age of 16 and recently became a certified veterinary assistant at Carroll Community College.  She joined the technician team in 2007.  Sarah is currently a full time student at McDaniel College in Westminster, working toward her acceptance into veterinary school.  Sarah has 3 horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat and chickens and ducks. 

Sarah Rupert - We welcomed Sarah to our technician team in September 2009. Sarah is happy to be back in her home state, most recently living in North Carolina.  She enjoys riding horses, reading and spending time with family and friends.  She has two chihuahuas, Lola and Phinn.  And, Sarah recently adopted a one-eyed kitten from Defenders of Animal Rights named Coraline. 

Rebecca Stillwell, CVT (Head Technician) - Rebecca graduated from Essex Community College in 2001 with a degree in applied science as a Veterinary Technician. In 2005, Rebecca completed a course on rigid endoscopy at the University of Georgia.  In 2006, she completed additional endoscopy courses at Colorado State University. She joined the Hunt Valley Animal Hospital team in 2001, with surgery and endoscopy being her areas of interest. Rebecca has three children, Megan, Kaitlin and Robby. She enjoys cycling, kayaking, and hiking with her German Shepherd, Basso. She also shares her home with an Amazon Parrot named Amelia, a blind cat named Winken and a orange tabby cat named Dexter, both of whom she adopted from Defenders of Animal Rights.

Sommer Troisi - Sommer has been with Hunt Valley Animal Hospital since 2007.  She has two fabulous dogs named Archibald and Evie.  In her spare time, Sommer enjoys reading, hiking and camping with her dogs and her boyfriend Stephen.

 

Kathleen Muth

Kathleen has been grooming dogs and cats at Hunt Valley Animal Hospital since 2000.  Kathleen does not have any pets of her own, but she considers all of the animals that she grooms to be her own and gives them the utmost care as if they were.  Outside of the grooming room, Kathleen is an avid writer of poetry and short stories.  She also creates furniture art and designs her own greeting cards.

 

OUR KENNEL TEAM

Jevon Kuntz - Jevon joined the kennel team at Hunt Valley in January 2009 and is our lead kennel technician.  His hard work and dedication to the kennel and hospital have been a welcome addition!  Jevon is originally from the Virgin Islands.  He has a school of tropical fish and 2 pitbulls named Dojo, Daja.  He really enjoys having a good time with his friends and family. He loves football. Go Joe! 

Erin Robbins - Erin jumped right in to doing dedicated kennel work in September 2009.
